The client approached MTG to assist them by treating their borehole and sump water to SANS 241 potable standards. MTG designed the system based on water results and client requirements.

About the Water Treatment System

The system was designed based on the boreholes and sump water results. The filtration system comprises media filtration, hydrogen peroxide micron filtration, RO machine, chlorine and pH dosing, and UV sterilizer. The system is fully automated. MTG takes monthly samples for testing.

The building uses the available treated borehole & sump water to reduce the reliance on municipal usage. ROI is estimated to be achieved within 36 months.
