One of our flagship RO products, the mobile Trailer System has been of big assistance in the renal part of the healthcare industry.
A client required their current Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant room to undergo renovations. Unfortunately, due to the number of patients that are dialysed at the unit, they were unable to shut down the RO water treatment system for these needed renovations to take place which led them to reach out to Marlin Technologies Group for a solution.
We proposed our mobile RO trailer system which we took to the client’s site and installed before the dismantling of their current RO system.
Just a few interesting facts about our RO trailer system and how it was setup at the client’s site:
- It is designed to provide permeate water for up to 20 patients at a time.
- This would not be able to cover the 24 patients that they currently dialyse in the current, direct feed trailer design.
- The recommendation was to convert the trailer system into an indirect feed system.
- A post tank with the pumps, UV sterilizer and bacterial filter was installed and connected to the trailer system.
- Electrical isolators needed to be installed for both the trailer and post tank system.
- The municipal supply was temporarily redirected to the trailer.
- Luckily, there was a drainage point close to the trailer.
